100% agree and my favourites are lorry tyres as they don't squat like car tyresTyres are easy and no nails if one gets broken
You have to keep stopping to pick um up. This is why quality straw, kept properly over winter costs.......I've never used pallets or tyres under bales. How do those of you who do, manage when you are emptying the shed? You can't drive on pallets as you would break them, so presumably you pick them up and stack them. You could drive on car tyres I suppose, but if they are picked up, can you successfully scoop them up in a bucket, or does it mean manhandling them?
Tyres, pallets, plastic sheets etc with all the time and hassle involved concrete sounds attractive and over a few years maybe not as dear as you think also can be swept up and shed maybe used for other things as well
