Is that a digital machine?I'm waiting for a Ritchie one to turn up. I didn't find price out on QE one as expected it to be pricey
"Only one person required to weigh pigs" + 2 others to get pig in there.
Agree it can be difficult . I sold one recently with some additional hurdle rod guides, a hurdle to go across the passage and with a forcing gate. He does that on his own"Only one person required to weigh pigs" + 2 others to get pig in there.
I don't suppose you have a picture or diagram of that set up? And an idea on price?A

2.4m x 1m high Paneltim panel with 1.4m forcing gate fitted on swivels at 1.8m along the lengthI don't suppose you have a picture or diagram of that set up? And an idea on price?
I meant that if you have to move it on the three castors the concrete has to be pretty good. I have since been told it can be just moved on the the 2 larger wheels like a more traditional set up. Can you pm me the cost of the setup with the hurdles and forcing gate please. It may help qualify for a grant.QE are also Ritchie dealers
Ritchie crate (galvanised) circa £1400 (electronic weigh head only option now)
QE stainless steel with electronic weigher and weight band traffic light system £1905
I don't understand the comment about putting the latter on end. You can and it has a caster wheel for on end turning
