Lots of tyres get processed and burnt to produce the heat for making cement.
Who did you use, we had a pick up truck load dumped in one of our fields last autumn and a pile of our own to get shot ofI got a whole heap collected 3-4 months back to clear the yard up - wasn't crazy money and nice to have them out the way. It was surprising how many piles we'd accumulated here and there across the yard that didn't look much until they were all placed in one pile.
That's a good idea. Can I store them at your place in the meantime ?Keep them safe ... you might need them for your vehicles in the future when anarchy rules the world
Thank me later

NTR are quoting me £1.50 per car tyre.
And bloody ugly...absolutely hate the things laid about...when I get a new tyre I always pay to get the old one taken awayI would be determined to get rid of the things, lorry sidewalls are easier to handle and don't hold water (less rats)- I think having stacks of tyres around the place is just a liability that will get worse in time.

Exactly you pay a company get a ticket then they go in a container to who knows where you really wonder if you doing the right thing...We had some collected by our local tyre recycling firm and I thought we were doing the right thing but when I asked what happened to them they said lots of them are sent to India and burnt in their power stations!
