My favourite parts/bits to see of West Cornwall are:
Coast path along Porthcurno
View attachment 568168
The drive from St Ives to St Just on the coast road (B3306). Geevor tin mine and Levant mine are both along the way and worth a visit. A large section of coast path near Pendeen is a by way for all traffic and is driveable in a 4x4 and the views are stunning.
A trip on the train branch line from St Erth to St Ives is nice.
If you go to Newlyn get a Jelberts ice cream. The Mrs likes Mousehole but Im not that keen on the place.
Walk from Lands End to Sennen, lunch in Sennen then back is good.
Open top bus operates along all of the coast road and you get great views (over the hedges onto farmland) worth taking the bus trip right around the coast.
I made it out west today and saw
Plenty of Guernseys
Endless tiny fields (with more Guernseys in the distance)
A few of Murley's ped jerseys at Bojewyan
Went for a splash at Porthcurno and doing my bit to support these poor folk down
here.
And I had an excellent moo maid ice cream at lunch.
A good day all round.
