What happens when you want to get loadall and tank to the same farm? Will there be something else to lift it on / off? Or tow the trailer and tank there with the loadall?

If you need to take the tank off without the loadall Stronga do something called the swaploada. If you specced the trailer with air suspension on got demount legs for the tank you’d achieve the same thing.

it would be rare we would be doing that - loadall normally only goes to stores at harvest to push grain on in winter to do maintenance jobs like trim branches and repair roadways etc. drills are serviced by the trailer we build with seed and liquid fert and we are all liquid N

I like the idea of air ( think along with abs etc it future proofs trailers a bit as legislation is only getting tighter) and we could easy make the tank demount like you say, I think the container twist locks are a good way to hold it down

Can’t fault my 28ft Stewart low loader, had all sorts on it, plenty of changing down points, good strap box, really stable.
Only regret was not getting the hydraulic bale wedge and air suspension, maybe next time

Looking for a flat trailer to move JCB loadall between farms and also to sit a 13000L enduroxmax tank on along with a large chemical locker to bowser for sprayers

Can you get the shipping container twist locks on ag flat beds as I think it could be a tidy and safe way to fasten tank and locker down ?

2 or 3 axle ? Air brakes and ABS a must these days I guess ?

which manufacturers should I be talking to ?
HM do twist locks as I looked at this myself. Good looking trailers too. I'm sure others would do them.

This this is one of the many tankers that Hutchinson engineering have made from scratch for Ag customers. They have a great deal of trailers in stock for modification including low loaders or can be made from new. If I were ever in the position to need anything like this these guys would make it. He also buys stainless and plastic tanks for stock so may have he materials ready to go and save you some coin.

Assuming the idea is to leave the farm with the tank full, 13 000 litres of water is 13 ton before anything else.
How heavy would an all the toys tri axle, steel deck (I'd go for timber) trailer with ramps weigh?
Probably not relevant, just thought I'd mention it.

I have a low ride freuhauf triaxle trailer that is crying out to be turned into Clive's trailer. If I sold it for £2000.00 I would lose money on it but at the moment it is losing money every day so am open to offers or it will stay there until the day I get around to sorting it myself. No twist locks but you can buy them off the shelf and fit yourself.

The plate on our tri axle JPM says 4.5 ton, thats commercial axles on steel springs , hydraulic folding ramps with checker plate and timber flooring.

think a triaxle is about 4.5t ish from specs I've looked at ?? so with a 13000L of water (13t) the tank (guss 0.5-0.75 t as its only plastic ?) takes you to 18t which I believe is legal under new weight limits ? leaving up to 13t ?? for the tractor pulling it (would be more like 8-9t though )

I guess if that's close then going to a twin axle instead of tri would give a bit of breathing space although I only actually need to carry 12000 L water in the 13000L as thats x2 sprayer fills

so I think totally legal is quite possible for this set up ....................until you pull it with a 65 kph fastrac or indeed any tractor that does over 40 kph that is !
