What is the condition of the unloading area and truck park? If its as wet as around here, those areas will be a swamp, with all the wheelings concentrated in a small area.

Does dry quick there as on coast by cliffs -weekend seems ok .

That doesnt fill me with confidence, I will be coming over Sat evening,after Bridgwater match and will have truck and small caravan, not things that handle mud too well! I have tried to make other arrangements enabling me to park up off the site, but to no avail.

It's a fairly quick drying spot as you say though small wheeling could be an issue I wouldn't worry too much though

Thanks very much. Matches themselves are applying enough stress, and the worry of not getting in or worst of all, blocking the gateway, is some I can do without!

Thanks for your help. Sadly, I got to the traffic lights where a left hand turn is required, and then ran out of signs, after a tour of the local car parks etc via the road works, I still had not found one so my only option was to return home.

Nightmare if you'd have turned left again just before the road works you'd of been there I've been looking on here on and off all day shame you didn't post something, prob for the best it's absolutely lashing it down now

you would not of got into the parking area with wagon and caravan, they have tipped woodchip in the entrance, but after that its a no go, will be some clarty carry on getting out for them tomorrow

Yeah it should be fairly ok if it's nice (which it's meant to be) tomorrow morning I didn't get there until 11.30 today and the lads said it was fairly wet but soon dried they were on stubble too and making a smart job of it

I couldnt post anything as I was at Bridgwater match, and I dont have an "I" phone, my internet stays at home.I did wonder about that left turn, but taking the lorry and caravan into a narrow dead end road did not seem a good idea!
For those brave souls who are there, the entertainment continues with the M4 being closed eastbound all day today!
I bet the unloading area is a sight to behold by now!
