I really like polysulphate and have been using it and getting on well with it for a few years now.
It's slow release so needs to go on early. I did question the fact that it's still visible on the surface months after spreading and I was told that what you see is like a honey comb casing and the nutrients melt out of it leaving that bit. Whether its tight or not I dont know but tissue tests always show high/ very high levels in plants after application so it must do some good.
