Isn't it called organic farming?

To be fair, if it does stink, its not very nice to live next to.
Don't know what the answer is though, its got to go somewhere.

I wonder if there's a big pile of it tipped right next to the farm house?

Can't use sludge if your organic

I never found it smelt bad once it was heaped, but it does stink when its spread to be fair, but its a temporary inconvenience, people generally don't realise how lucky they are!

It does stink without a doubt, when I’ve used it the companies that supplied it have had strict guidelines on where they tip it and spread it. They want as little hassle as possible.
One year was very wet and by god did it stink that year .
It doesn’t smell as bad these days .
It’s got to go somewhere but as usual it’s not in my back yard thank you

Is that right. Every days a school day.
So what are we going to do with all the sh*t if the greenies have their way and everyone has to farm organically?

Look at Britain in Google Maps satellite view. Plenty of places away from houses they could put it. They tried disposing of it in forestry up here but that stopped when people (plural, presumably dog walkers) complained. They don't mind upsetting single households though.

Used to have it for months, all summer, but I believe they used it near a school and there was an uproar. The characters who drive the machinery are not exactly candidates for Brain of Britain. One tanker got a puncture so the driver opened the sluice and let the contents into the nearest roadside ditch -- which just happened to be where kids waited for the school bus. If you think it is so lovely, it's obvious where it can be disposed of!

Around here there’s loads of the black stuff, but there is a treatment plant somewhere that mixes it with lime, which makes it go a more brown colour.

Apart from the obvious problem I’ll have with another source of lime going on to farm land, the stench of that stuff is horrendous, far worse than the black stuff.
