Just trying to understand what has happened or what he is having trouble with ? Don't know anything about hidden posts etc ?

If he can explain more and there is a problem we can find then maybe it can be fixed - if it's one thing he's doing wrong maybe we can help him

I have had a couple of posts and replies to conversations disappear into the ether.

My posts I admit, tend to be long, and maybe although I am told it has posted, I have been timed out.

At times, although the system shows I am signed in, when I click on something, I get the response that I need to sign in.

While I remember, there is a like button, which you can then unlike.

How about a dislike button, if you disagree with a poster?

I find I have to flick back and forwards on the menu and use Refresh to keep up to date with my own postings (when I'm on-line) - but other people's posts are always up to date.
Is this what FT is referring to?

I think different people use the forum in different ways

I use the whats new button all the time, and have used the custom option to exclude the forums I'm not so interested in

Others look at individual forums I guess and some just use the alerts

Depending on how you use it will depend how it works for you but there are many choices about how you want the place to work of you

The mobile app gives a heap of other options as well, I'm beginning to prefer using it than a browser on iPad even now

I too thought posts were delayed, but noticed, it is when they go onto a next page, if that makes sense.
This thread is still on its first page, so my reply will show up as soon as it is done, if it were to go onto the next page, say 2, then when I post it, it would take me to the post previous to mine, but next time it is refreshed it will show up, of course refresh or go to whats new it shows up.
Sorry no easy way to describe what seems to occur.

I prefer the old pm thing don't like this conversation one half the time I can't find the contact button that's why I didn't reply to the messages as I could not work out how to, with a pm it stairs you in the face so you can't miss it, you are dealing with farmers here not computer geeks

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
