Looking for a bit of advice on a few bits of concreting we have to do .just starting to convert a building for work shop and storage and it needs the old floors ripping up and re concreting.is it worth power floating or will a float finish be ok

I was really thinking about power float as a way of getting a better finish with less bumps and possibly harder wearing.ive laid plenty of concrete but never needed a completely smooth finish

They aren't cheap to hire .Its part of a Bigish job that will have to be done in bits all in adjoining sheds/rooms.over a period of a year or more so was thinking of buying one off eBay.

I've got a 4 foot one that I bought off ebay. Could be for sale as I can't see us wanting one for a long while.

PowerFloat all interior shed floors makes like easier especially in a workshop environment and you can rent them out afterwards

Outside concrete is all brushed here

Most of the stuff I’ve done before has been yards or livestock buildings so it’s had a brushed finish.or just hand floated I’ve never used a power float but it sounds like it’s what we should be using for this job
