Without the english fighting for a german king it wouldnt have happened. Ponder that.
Been a German king of and on in England since the dark ages, a German king for one reason the country's desire for a Protestant monarch, shame the Stuart's couldn't achieve this after the throne was gifted them. Once William is king there will be a German/Stuart king again.

The local blacksmith was at that match, and liberated some of the turf from under that goal post . Probably enough to fill an egg cup, but there is a piece of Wembley in sunny Galston !😂
My old man was there (used to go every time we went to Wembley), and apparently a patch in our lawn at the time was liberated that day. All looked the same to me though so he could have been talking shite.

It was Jimmy Ferrie from Newmilns that went, I wonder if they went on the same bus ? It was all Flares and tartan scarves , very Bay City Rollers !😂
