Just goes to show how incompetent those running the Foid Standards Agency are in letting contracts. Should never have taken meat inspection away from the Local Authority Environmental Health depts in 1995

The problem is that local authorities (i.e Somerset) are totally incompetent anyway and would have only put such a service out to tender anyway.

Somerset never ran meat inspection because it was a district council function but I take your point.
