Proforge, price to good to be true?

Is anyone running any proforge rolls or cultivators and how are they built and finished compared to other makes? The price is very tempting but don't want to skimp on quality!

I’ve a set of 8.3m rolls with paddles, rolls seem great and work well but the paddles or should I say the frame that holds the paddles could be better, I’ve beefed them up and I don’t see them being a problem again but would rather not get the welder out on year one! The company has been perfect with its back up and response though, neighbour has the carrier style tool and he’s made up with it.

Good Morning,

Many thanks for all the interest in our range of Proforge machinery. Approx 20% of our machines are built by Rolmako, however, they aren’t simply off the shelf items repainted red!

We have been working with the factory for a number of years now and are bringing in machines to Proforge’s specification, built to suit the higher demands of the UK market, both on the components used and the structural build of the machines. Off-the-shelf models will have cheaper open crumblers or tooth packers, inferior bearings (Not SKF sealed) and inferior Disc blades (not OFAS/ High Boron)

We (try to!) keep sizes in most models immediately available from stock at our yard in Lincolnshire as well as next day delivery back up of parts.

On the best selling model the Inverta, there are now over 230 across all regions of the UK so we can generally put you in contact with a local user to get 1st hand feedback should you require.

Trust this clarifies a few points and any questions please give us a call. (y)

,ben ,, after one of these ,to pull behind pigtail drag ,or low disturbance subsoiler , as we have an old 3 m box drill ,can do a one pass ,putting cover crops and game strips ,and maybe if found a better drill ,sow barley / wheat too ,,i,did ring up other day ,and was told you dont supply such a thing , but rolmako do make this ,and unia do , can you price this machine ,up ,to be honest it nearly looks same as unia ares l.
