Really sorry to hear that Pete. You've worked bloody hard on this and been gracious enough to share with us the highs and lows. I've really enjoyed this thread, and a lot of your other contributions. Wishing you all the best with it for the coming year.
Is that one able to tow on the highway, or is it a case of JFDI ?Eastern counties where the ground is dry and the wallets are fat!

If it’s the one that was at LAMMA then south NorfolkI found this on Facebook not sure where it is
That was my thought when I saw the picture because it looked like what Pete was trying to achieve. Is that one able to tow on the highway, or is it a case of JFDI ?

Might just be best to remove them and put a stop end cap in their place? One less thing to worry about then.
Knowing Pete, it will see the pressure washer most days! So caps would possibly suit better than the needing to re-grease the fittings.
Yes he looks good.. he fancied a holiday by the coastAre you keeping my Warwickshire Bear on the bonnet?
He’ll love a different view!
Ah sorry it’s not been plain sailing Hopefully once you iron all the issues out she will turn out to be just the ticketEeeerrrmmmmm.......well........
As far as I know, it’s ok now. But I have had a bit of bother with a frazzled ECu, which was a bit vexing to say the least.
When it’s going, it’s a pleasure to use, but without a shadow of doubt I’ve had more fitters out to work on it in one year than we’ve had out to four Big A spreaders in 25 years.
To actually do the job it’s a good bit of kit in theory, but if it keeps costing money I might have to think again.
Truth told, I think I’ve lost my way with my machinery choices a bit these last five years. I’m really yearning to get back to something with a proper gearbox and even a clutch. No emissions rubbish, no technology, just big, basic, chunky chuff off engineering that keeps going.
Trouble is, it’s that road towing business that governs all I have to do. The Xerion ticks that box, so stays for now.
seems to be the thing with all modern stuff cant help thinking tech peaked and we going back wardsEeeerrrmmmmm.......well........
