On our steep light land a tractor and trailed makes a fair mess climbing up where the SP doesn'tI admit to not reading all of these pages but what is the advantage of these big expensive SP machines over a decent size trailed spreader with a 50kph tractor on big tyres ??
Was probably John OrfordsA Ploeger (?) big A lookalike, never seen one before, came past mine this week towing a lowloader with a telehandler on it. He had an escort vehicle with him.

I'm not aware of any others like this one yet? This one tows a teleporter on a low loader and has a white Vauxhall Vivaro van as an escortI couldn’t say if it was that one but it was very similar if not....
It had to be winched out early spring, pulled the front mud guard off and bent all the steps!Did I hear that machine had a lie down recently? Or maybe found an extremely wet hole and took a lot of recovering?
Happens to us all.
Yep, less than 6 months old then too and fresh back from Lamma. Not obvious from photo but hopper is huge. Its a K105 or K115 thats been cut and extended. There was some spare room on the chassis so they stretched it. I believe hopper is wider at front than the back. If spreading limestone, they can get 20t in it if you wanted to.Blimey, I’ll bet he was peeved about that.
Some significant investment there.
