Thieves carry off plows, loader buckets, harrows, manure spreaders and just about anything made of metal to sale for scrap and get their drug money here. Only catching them in the act does anything. Installing a camera system will do more good for you. Then if cops don't feel like following through - you always can if you know what I mean Plus keep serial number and photo records and hopefully have a friend or two around the scrap or sale areas to let you know some equipment just showed up so you can get it back before it's destroyed... Hopefully law isn't worthless in your area :/

A farm near here had a new Yamaha quad nicked and the replacement nicked two weeks later ( swears it was an inside job from yamaha warranty register ). Bought two Rottweilers and chained them in range of the parking place and never lost one since
