Wanted a trolly for my kayak......

......didn't want to spend money

View attachment 570220

Axle and wheels came off a off road skate board I found in a ditch some number of years ago (y):D = full suspension trolly

The black bits slot in to holes in the kayak......they are surplus angle grinder side handles :D

Sit in or sit on ?
I've just put a 12V outboard on dingy, its surprisingly good to use, would be great on a kayak

Unfortunately before the days of digital cameras, so no photos, but I once successfully "bodged" a roadside repair to a busted distributor cap, which due to not being properly clipped on(by self-servicing me!) broke off the rotating contact, alongwith the supporting bakelite.
Which rapidly brought the car to a standstill.
A filthy Feb night, with a heavily pregnant wife, and baby on board,
Hmmm?
A lump of Blutack retrieved from the dash, and a "repurposed" paperclip later, 100% successful repair, which lasted for days & days, while I revved the nuts off the engine, testing my engineering masterpiece (having bought a distributor cap the next day, which, of course I kept in the glovebox), until Senior Managment threw a minor strop and insisted I fitted the bloody thing.
Proud of that bodge I was!

The 100×50 box will need to be at least 6mm wall or need strengthened. Made ours with 5mm wall and it isn't strong enough, it bent where the trailer ends and the extension starts.
