Rusty screws do hold betterConfused here, so many reasons to fail the pic. No bailer twine, and painting screws, whatever next? I presume they are painted, mine are all rusty brown, surely no one would be daft enough to put N++ (sorry I almost swore) screws on here!
This will probably get me banned for life.........
Hopefully I can get away with it under ‘quick fixes’
When screwfix don’t use enough glue on the tek screw box!

The four screws would normally disqualify you, however for animal welfare issues you will get away with it, providing you can explain why you had them in the first place!Due to the cr@p weather earlier in the week we've had to use a different shed to hold lambs and their mothers coming out of the individual pens. Unfortunately the little fudgers insist on trying to swim in the water trough
Had to go for the 'fish hole in the ice' solution......
View attachment 634958 Cut a square out of the corner of an old bread tray so the ewes can just get their noses in but not big enough for the lambs to go skinny dipping
Must declare the use of 4 new screws for fixing purposes - no time to rumage round for used ones
I was just looking after them for a 'friend'providing you can explain why you had them in the first place!

It's a bit shiny. I suspect new metal or paint involvedWell it only took me half an hour after knocking off time!!!!!....
Its a hazel stick i cut from an overgrown hedge were the hedgecutter cant reach is been eyeing it up for a while for something. Its light coloured because i shaved the bark off and left it by the log burner in the house for a couple of weeks to dry out. Couldnt be bothered to wait 6 months or however long it takes a hazel stick to season properlywhat stick is very straight and equal thickness. When you say it is from a hedge, do you mean it came from under/in a hedge, or is actually a hedge plant branch?
