Can the bodgeless post be stripped from this thread?
Playing devil's advocate: the thread title allows for "quick fixes" or "bodges" or "creations"
A big bat? Surely not, they are actually made for hitting things. A true evangelical bodger would find something far more imaginative to use instead. That argument has been made many times.....but offenders usually end up being chased from the thread with a big bat!

Looks like the forum swear filter isn't working properly!Fails:-
1 Presence of paint on the item
2 Use of a new bolt
3 Use of a drill properly (hole drilled centrally , I suspect the use of a ............... (whisper) lathe?
4 Use of a tap
5 Fitting a NEW nipple
6 Use of a nipple implies the use of grease: Surely the biggest fail of all?
Good work mind, just wrong thread - I bet most of them on here have got your pic as wallpaper now
Cutting those tines off is verging on criminal behaviour
Don't throw them away, they are great for use as crowbars.
How many crowbars does one man need????
There’s dozens of those cranked time crowbars where I go and work. The sheargrab somehow breaks the nuts off the back eventually so there’s a lifetimes worth of tines. There one in most places round the farm and often one on a tractor cab floor of stuck in the towing point on the front linkage. How many crowbars does one man need????
How about a big adjustable wench?Like a big adjustable wrench?
