Personally, I’d be sticking that inside a shed.

If I had a shed tall enough I would!! Hoping regular staining and plenty of mastic will keep it good. Only need it to last a few years then upgrade in time.

A proper bodge would be some larger box profile sheets on top of it to shed the water off. More sheets around the outside of it would help to keep the water out of the bottom hopper. :X3:

We bought a pair of those kits 20 years ago, good things. When we built one of them we only made the sides 6ft tall to go in one corner of a shed.
Just a thought.

Build plinth for each leg out of concrete blocks stand bin on blocks and then build another course or 2 of blocks around and fill with concrete.
Also as @Nearly said sheet it if it was mine I'd do it all over. Cakes not as dear as it was but it's still to dear to shovel on the muck heap when it's damp and mouldy

I wouldn't bother sheeting with box profile it if its only a temporary bin. I would cover the whole thing in a silage sheet and tie the sheet over the bin with baler twine fitting for this thread though.
I've got one inside a shed and it doesn't take much damp for the stuff to stick inside the corners of the cone because it's not quite steep enough for stuff to flow out properly really.
(If you do too good a job you won't ever replace it 😉)

I used 4 tubes of mastic on all the joins, I'm hoping that will be enough to keep out the damp!!

Original spring snapped when I opened it with a hammer while it was frozen 😂 then forgot about it until I wanted to use trailer again this morning
