with a set of mud terrain tyres i could see that usefull for mowing a lawn,
either tethered or allowing free movement,
that man deserves a double page spread in PFI.
for a real hitech version it could be fitted with auto steer.
how to make your lawn work for you, be much cheaper to construct than to buy a robot mower

The only time I've seen a Defender with that little oil around the engine is when it was dry! Check your dipstick* - quick!

*Dipstick - a removable rod used by drivers who don't keep stock to check the level of lubrication oil in the sump of an engine.

What’s this ‘oil’ you talk of? Is that the stuff that the entire bottom of the car is coated with, Land Rovers patented constant loss chassis lubrication system?

Well.... there's a good reason for that.....1 month ago and all through lambing it was covered in oil cause the injector seals were naff......also the turbo was letting oil in to burn

New turbo and injector seals and wa-la clean engine (for now)

Edit- it also needed a sump gasket

Had one of the very first 300 series since new and oil is only just starting to weep.
Never had to touch the engine on it. Over 100k miles still going strong.
