and putting wheel eradicators on another drill mate whats going under old krm , when new packer comes , (nigel ,get your finger out )

hope welding is up to a 5 ton drawbar spec
Will that's what mine is like, although it has a steel crumbler roller rather a one. I have found it goes better with the spring tine harrow section taken out, a straight tine in every other holder. It allows trash and clods through a lot better. The way it worked out on mine there were 2 gaps and I put tines in the spring tine cultivator brackets to make it more even. Ideally I would like to fix a 2nd row of brackets on the 2nd beam.
Have also fitted a hydraulic top link so I can push the tines in if I'm short of soil, taking wheel marks out, repairing poor ploughing etc and leave them out when the going's good.
Will take a few pics if you wish, none of my welding though :(

I needed a bracket quickly for the GPS in the tractor so a golf ball a coach bolt and 15 minutes created this, not pretty but works a treat.

Also the concrete panels aren't really grain tight so to keep the shed tidy when separating wheat, OSR, Oats and Barley I hold silage sheet up with 8 inch lengths of wavy coil with a 1.5 inch gap cut out with the jigsaw.

Thank you to whomever I borrowed these ideas from via this or other websites

Cheers BB

Reno man don't need tines here to repair poor ploughing A d8 in some places would be more use New packer come so might get it all together

I've taken some anyway.
We have been using the drill mate as a front press for about 10 years now. Dad used to just have it kissing the ground as that was about all our Deutz could manage When we put it on the Fastrac I could run it on float and then when I fit the hydraulic top link it became really useful. Trouble was when I pushed it in it tended to 'bulldoze' so I removed every other straight tine, problem being I always ended up with 2 together or a gap of 3. I know I've already said this before but I can't sterss how much it had improved it. WP_20141017_001.jpg WP_20141017_002.jpg WP_20141017_003.jpg WP_20141017_004.jpg
