Interesting. I’ve got one on the way with premium radio, I think it was a £500 option. I wonder whether to save on that and just have one of these units instead.

That JVC one is about £450 I didn’t think it was worth it. I have a normal 6r one if anyone wants to make me an offer non Bluetooth cd affair. I got an normal JD one out of stealers £120ish. Buttons don’t work but as it’s an older r with no arm rest I don’t really care tbh. Does the job rightly.

I know they have been troublesome and very expensive out of warranty. My 155 had 3 in 2 yrs. just stumbled upon this. Must be a lot cheaper...

We hire a tractor off a neighbour on occasions and he’s converted all his JD’s to Sony’s and they work through the JD terminal. He got an Indy mechanic with the JD laptop software to make them work.

He did it because of all the failures he was getting and the expensive repair bills. These Sony’s are all about £60 each.

It is not cheaper, I think I have 400€ price in my head when I asked and opened topic here few months ago.
Better to buy normal JVC with handsfree and USB for 100€, who cares about buttons.
Will normal radio work without any errors ?

They should never be allowed to call it a "premium" radio .... ive never driven one that doesn't keep losing bluetooth connectivity throughout the day ...shocking !

The sound quality is premium but as you say the bluetooth , especially for audio streaming is shocking as is not having DAB meaning the need for audio streaming is all the greater . Can't believe Deere haven't sorted it yet

Me either..... they have been like it ever since the r series were launched !
I have never had Bluetooth drop out in any other vehicle .....so its definitely not my phone

JVC for 70€ never had dropout on streaming or on handsfree calls. Thats why I want to ditch this JD trash and put normal JVC there.
