Rapid and carrier - headlands last?

Want to make more use of RTK this year, and was wondering if i should disc everything but the headland with the carrier, drill it with the rapid, then disc and drill the headland last. Figure that would compact the headland the least, and loose it up at bit before drilling. Anyone do this, or is it a waste of time to divide up the discing like this? Just drill the headland last after discing the whole field in one go?

Depends on the width of your drill

3 meter drill, 3 meter disc. Small fields here in Norway, headlands take up a big percentage.

I'd do headlands last then, you can get away with it on 6m + machines I've found drilling them first.

Would you wait discing headlands to after drilling inside?

I'd disc the headlands with the field, then go back and disc again after drilling the field.
