Tried out the clamp now, first impressions are very good. Can grip a wide range of sheep sizes!
Very easy to assemble and use. Will be bolusing through it in a few weeks.

Now that you have had it a couple of years @scholland how are you finding it?

Anyone else that’s been using one got any reports?
Trying to work out whether one of these or combi clamp would be route to go down. Would possibly be using it in fixed fank in yard as well as on rappa mobile and thinking this may be a bit more manoeuvrable for doing both jobs.

Overall a combi clamp is better but for us maneuverability is so important so happy with the rappa clamp

Had a RaceGrip for a few months now. Needed one as we have sheep on a lot of different farms and needed something mobile and in one trailer. It is an excellent bit of kit, able to deal with ewes, rams, lambs all together without any adjustments, fairly quick to assemble and really useful for one person to handle and treat sheep.

If you dont mind me asking what sheep jobs do you use it for?

because I cant see how much better they make jobs other than vaccinating and ear tagging

imo dagging may as well go the whole hog like the prattley etc and swing them up off the ground as well as clamp.

but they do stop that bloomin awful sideways twisting and going down noinsense when your e trying to dag them though i must admit .

Also keen to know if anyone has experience fixing one of these into a permanent yard? Looking at purchasing one for my rappa working in the field, but for mobs closer to home was hoping it would work just as well on the end of a permanent race. Many thanks
