Rat poison legislation

Did a quick internet search earlier as my usual supplier has website issues. Nobody will allow you to place an online order now, it's all "phone for pricing" etc. If only I was in the office between 9 and 5.

One had a section you could input your certificate number....but I'm making do with FA (farm assurance!) for now.

Been told today that there will be a further tightening up on the amount of poison available to non ticketed users from March 2018. New limit of 300g for blocks and 150g for pellets as well as the active ingredient percentage reduced from 50ppm to 30ppm. Having just topped up our bait stations with 1 kg today, I see a lot of visits to the ag. store coming up. Has anybody got a price for training and certification in the Shropshire/Powys area ? AHDB site is being flashed up on my PC as not secure !

I'll no doubt do it ,just getting fed up with it all. Every year they come up with another stupid idea to make our job harder.
Neighbour told me we will have to have the assurance number for the contract on each trailer as we take it into store, great the side of my trailer will have up to 7 4 digit numbers up the side of each trailer for each customer we cart for? Going to look good ? And what's wrong with the trailer Id on the passport next to reg and assurance sticker? Another pointless exercise.
