Rat repellent around open grain store doors

With these high temperatures I'm leaving the grainstore doors wide open at night with the fans on but conscious of rats getting in. Is there a repellent I could just spray across all access points every so often, maybe diesel or something?

I read somewhere that castor oil keeps them away, haven't tried it though.

No.
Only a physical barrier will stop them so smooth so they can’t climb and tight to the floor and edges and high enough so they can’t jump.
