I had planned on fitting the regular Artemis on a drill however it's discontinued now and only available used/overhauled.

I have been offered the lite version instead, has anyone got any experience with it? It's being sold to me as the same thing except it won't do variable rate off a map.The control box is also smaller now missing the keypad, does this make it awkward when calibrating?

Is there anything else that's different I should know about?

What do you want to achieve by fitting the control system? There may be better control systems on the market?

Tom
It's to go on a front hopper, it hasn't got anything at the moment. I will be swapping from combi to maize drill and possibly other jobs so it's easy to swap drill width in the computer.

I don't really know any other control systems but I hadn't really thought about it either. I know the Artemis setup now and it's very reliable and easy to use so it was my first choice.

TBH - for a simple system like that you're probably as good with that as anything else.

There are other options when you need multiple products, metering units and tramline rythms, but the Artemis is a good, simple piece of kit.
