Hi,

Figured this probably the best place to ask.

Does anyone have any knowledge or experience with Reco Gallignani RB25 round balers? Just been to look at a 1990 machine which is in excellent mechanical condition for its age. I've never heard of Gallignani and a quick google search doesn't bring any info up on the RB25.

Thanks in advance.

Lets hope this one doesn't cause me similar issues. Going to give it a shot and see how we go.

Fella selling says he can't get his head around the netting setup. He's sure its threaded correctly, but it comes off the reel and around an idler shaft with two opposing springs on it. These springs pull the net towards the center, and as such only put a 2 - 3 foot strip of net around the center of the bale. This leaves the sides to flare out.

Going to see if I can get hold of an operators manual.

I'm all for someone grabbing a bargain but my gut feeling is to leave it. You don't know how it works,no parts available and it's already playing up. Maybe get one from a current manufacturer with better backup
