Go for sealed middle vents if cattle only.
Yes that’s why I like graham Edwards, nice simple design and low centre of gravity, easier to clean with no middle vents

I know the Gamic is probably really strong but.........

As are Gamic.;) They will build any variation you want. If you want no middle vents and a bright pink paint job with fairies on the side, then they will build it for you (or any other variation obviously).

If it’s for cattle only, then most ‘off the shelf’ trailers will be a compromise as they are designed to be used for both attle and sheep (with decks). I would avoid anything pop riveted together and want a welded box that won’t be prone to bowing out in the middle if cattle decide to turn round in it.
#anythingbutIfor# then.?

1 thing they are missing is a drop down front, makes them a lot easier pulled. Hudson here.

Don’t most manufacturers offer a drop down front as an option now?

A local Welsh manufacturer ;) has gone for an angled front instead to achieve a similar effect, but I dare say they will do a drop down front if you’d rather.

I'm sure falcon do the same, I haven't seen one but pretty sure they'd be a good trailer, same design as the Hudson. For cattle I'd just make sure the Ali sides are thicker gauge, than the 'standard' trailers.

I think the Gamic looks slightly different now, but I know what you mean.

Graham Edwards sheep deck are just brilliant...drop a load of cattle off...and you can get the decks out in less than a min...I stuffed mine with cattle and they never bulge out like the Ifor often does..Buy the best
I had a 10x5ft trailer with wind away decks and always found the decks wound forward imposed a lot on the towbar etc

Graham Edwards it is.
Ruled out Ifor mainly due to strength issues - this trailer will be for big cattle and Ifor although cheaper didn’t look up to it, so toss up between GE and Nugent not much price difference, liked strength of Nugent with 2x2 steel around 3 sides although this goes across middle of side doors so difficult exiting that way, and partition hangers are attached to the roof rather than sides, stick out 6 inches at head height and thought could injure both me and cattle also wasn’t overly keen on tail gate spinning latches, chose GE mainly because it’s 4 inches wider for slightly less money, welded top to bottom along both sides, liked the hook latch tailgate and partition has posts which are tight to the sides and then separate slam door which is sheeted top to bottom, wasn’t sure about indespension vs springs but should ride quieter so time will tell, plus got a good deal from guy up North.
