Recommendations for concrete grooving

I’m thinking of grooving some of our yards , what concrete grooving to people have and how successful is it .

I used a firm from Hereford (I put my name on the list for when they were in the area)

I had a slightly sloped yard and the concrete had gone like glass
600 to get it grooved is cheaper than losing a beast

just over 2 quid i think,depending on area

one guy kept saying he was coming week after next called him twice, had another cow slip in the mean time, he talked the hind legs off a donkey and I’m still waiting

The guy in the farmers guardian done ours called Monday was here Wednesday as he said charged by the sq yard, very reasonable because we weren’t on his door step either and we only had 80

Vermot is better than anything else. we had nearly all our yards done 5 years ago. Probably the most expensive but cheapest in the long run.

Lol OK. Thats not my experience. It was middle of summer when they were here so perhaps not as busy.

Vermont. Used to see cows slip over every day, not seen a single one since Vermont grooved yards.

I’ve seen that on a farm, it looked a much neater job than vermot do provided it’s as effective.

Transformed 2 yards here, cows far more confident

Did slopes and 45 year old smooth concrete, great job.

How does grooving slatts work, is it a good job aswell
