Reducing seed rate on wide row widths

Currently running 1 inch dutch points on a Horsch Sprinter. Has anyone drilling on wide narrow rows reduced there seed rates due to there being a lot more seed in each row?

Kind of depends what seed rate your start of with as your normal seed rate for narrow spaced rows.
If your “normal” seed rate is on the high side I’d say there would be some scope to reduce, if you’re already on the lower end of seed rates I wouldn’t change it much.
We used to drill at around 125Kg/Ha with our old Accord Suffolk coulter drill (4 or 5 inch rows can’t remember), but we still drill at around 125Kg/Ha at 10 inch rows with our Dale.
Had we been putting 200Kg/Ha or more on as standard we mights have reduced it when we changed drills.

My sprinter is on 30cm rows, so I use the 2 inch dutch points to get the same in between row width. I really wish I could make it 25cm and use a really thin point.
