Removing green algae from paving slabs?

Anybody got a STIHL pressure washer patio cleaner attachment? Is it any good and what model please?
We had a small Stihl pressure washer with a patio brush but the rotating nozzle close up did a better job on algae.
However, neither is as effective as a steam cleaner held a couple of inches away from the concrete. It's a steady job but it'll be 18months before the green comes back..

dont any of you carnts buy stuff from your local hardware shop anymore ?

why is EVERYTHING from Amazon ?

no wonder local communities are disappearing . . .
Local hardware shop - 25-20 minute drive, pay for parking, walk to the other side of town, pay well over the odds for stock that's past the expiry date (if it's even in stock), served by someone more interested in gossiping with their colleagues than serving the customer, get huffed at if you want to pay cash and don't have the right amount, get huffed at again because you want a receipt, lug the stuff back to the car which hopefully hasn't been dinged or ticketed, then drive home again. Been like that for as long as I can remember, hardly a wonder people prefer Scamazon...

I try to avoid amazon. I rather buy direct from the supplier, it can be cheaper too. Still think home delivery if madness for a few £ product. Plus not always available in my postcode either.

what a sad way to live

although, you cant pay cash online either, so thats hardly a valid point 🤣
Much easier to keep track of receipts when using a debit card & all transactions are on you monthly bank statement ;)

Bizarrely I have a couple of online suppliers that will do cash on delivery - not takeaways either. :ROFLMAO:

When I was a kid there was another hardware store in town that was the polar opposite - you always got a warm welcome & they would often round transactions down rather than mess about with small change. The place was a veritable Aladins Cave with random stuff going back years & if you wanted a single item they'd happily split a pack, there were boxes of odd items that they'd rummage through if what you wanted wasn't in stock. One time as a teenager I hadn't got enough money on me & the owner said not to worry we'd sort it out "next time", every time I went in afterwards he would wink and say "next time!" Was a sad day when he decided to shut up shop.
