I’m thinking of buying one of the above as a spare tractor for when we are busy they seem good value for money!! I’ve looked at 1 but the pto is rattling bad is it a big fix? What should I look out for? TIA

I run two. I like them. Not had that fault myself. Had a couple of hyd pumps but not that dear. Massey 61xx back end in the 620 30 40 range. Wiring issues are the only bug bear

They can rattle if just runnin free. Have u tried it on a machine?
The man that has it bought it that way 4 years ago and never used pto it is like teeth are gone inside he tells me same back end as 8000 Series masseys put it doesn’t look like the pack can be removed from the back so wondering if it’s big job. It’s on a 710

plate on left hand side where u adjust the handbrake cable internally.

judging by my 6180 massey, we changed the shaft one day and the back bearing fell apart. pto pack easy to check from the side plate, remove the shaft and u will see of the back gears and all is aligned.

I have a 630 rz, and rate it highly, for comfort with the z cab, the torque of the Deere engine and it will grip the ground better than any of it era , watch out for the head gasket and brake wear ,
