Swap the tractor, not viable to retrofit.Anyone out there retrofitted the reverse drive to a valtra, in this case a T130 with mechanical linkages,
Tom
So what’s the issue? From the factory it doesn’t seem that expensive,Talking to dealer salesman at yams he said they can fit it but lads in workshop will swear at you when you ask them to do it
think theres on on fb marketplaceLittle 4cyl Valtra with reverse drive and you'd be golden. Couple that with direct gearbox for creeping along for fence work would be a joy.
It's not I think it was £2300. I think its the level it's built into the tractor. So to retrofit there's a element of unbuilding to fit itSo what’s the issue? From the factory it doesn’t seem that expensive,

Makes sense, so the tractor is almost built around it rather thank the it just being a straight forward add on,It's not I think it was £2300. I think its the level it's built into the tractor. So to retrofit there's a element of unbuilding to fit it

I think a wise man once told me, you can never have enough horsepower on a post nockerthink theres on on fb marketplace
Many things as a factory option on a new tractor aren't that dear for various reasons. For starters the tractor isn't to take to bits to fit it, parts cost is a lot less (could be 2 or 3 pairs of hands parts pass through between factory and dealer, each wants their share) and obviously if there are any parts to take off that's a cost saved at factory level. So what’s the issue? TFrom the factory it will be homologated and type approved, fit it yourself or locally it will not. That's ok until if there is ever an accident and a subsequent investigation.
Better to find a tractor with it factory fitted
