They have systems in place to set alert that sort of thing - don’t ask me what or how, but it was mentioned that previous petitions have had a “haircut”.

To be honest, I don’t think the exact number matters, more that it gives an indication of the level of feeling in the country. We are divided, that is very clear - for anyone to claim to speak for all of us and imply that we have a common belief is just insulting.

But it’s just gone through 2.75 million.

But it’s just gone through 2.75 million.

Just bemusing myself, but it’s gained 2.1 million signatures in last 24 hours. If that rate continues, it might almost reach 19.7 before the end of the 29th. Not that either the number or the date matters, of course.

It’s not a vote John. It’s an indication of public feeling though.

The only vote that “matters” is the election of MPs, with the referendum coming a close second - and it was rigged.

I was pretty peed off when dear Theresa implied she was on the people's side when she slagged off the MPs on Wed evening. A rather sweeping statement.....

The vote heat map is interesting, it seems staying in is very popular amongst the urban elite. Cambridge, London, Brighton etc

Just been on that heat map for my voting area and 1175 people have apparantly voted for it thats less than a quarter of the village I live in.
