Jeremy Vine was on about a pair of geese terrorising people at the end of the week. I felt like letting him know that if Messrs Packham and Attenborough have their way and rewild large areas of the UK and reintroduce wolves and lynx, a few poxy geese will be the least of the publics' problems.

Why?

If someone can get free cash to buy and manage a block of land then why not?
Or get donations to home a few "factory farmed" animals.
Or set up a charity to "rehome" battery hens.

Getting paid in the meanwhile.

If people have spare cash to waste on crap like that they want hanging they could be doing some actual good In society ie children's hospitals some of them poor little buggers have had the worst start in life through no fault of there own an that bit of cash could make them abit more comfortable an happy we've got our priorities wrong!!!!

Would the upkeep involve say a manager, who might need to live there, a house perhaps ?
Know of a family that used crowdfunding to pay £10K's for a house on land they owned, instead of living in a caravan.

I knew a man who inherited a small patch of land with a few ramshackle sheds on it. He was told that there was no chance of him getting planning permission to build a house on it. So he started a sheep sanctuary..........ffs
He lives there now!
