No reason why, if his cows are milking well and therefore want to eat cake, he should be over the worst in a week.

It's a big move to another farm. Unfamiliar surroundings etc. Fingers crossed though...

Seeing as I have 3 months master contract left I figure I better learn as mainly repairs that I can while I still have the safety net of the contract as back up .

A :- Did it work and B :- Did it cost a fortune??

A , don't know yet as it takes a while to build up steam
B, Still on master so parts( new magnet valve ) were free , might enquire as to the cost when the engineer comes back out to weld the gates

There is apparently a new VMS out in early July !
VMS have always only ever had changes with soft wear but this new machine has physical changes .
One of the major changes will be speed of attachment .
It’s been described to me as a game changer !

See that new vms just released. Looks good attachment, smart bit of kit, very impressed.

Realistically probably be a not sold.

Bid to £64k for the lot,but not sold I was told.

Has anybody any real info on the new lely a5- and not lelys spiel? Delay all are quoting 10% increased productivity on their new Ms. Someone said the new a5 will lift cow numbers from approx 65 to closer on 70 per box??

It was a nice set up. I’d never been there, despite living not that far away .
