Rolling spring barley post emergence

All mine was rolled post drilling, and I intend to roll it all again. I applied some MN today so will hope to roll it after the weekend.

What sort of growth stage does it need to be before rolling. I need to roll some?

Heavy flat roller?

Thinking of doing mine again to encourage tillering, especially on one field that was drilled a bit of the light side. It won't hurt Bob, as long as you don't spray it soon afterwards or when frost is forecast.

Mine was drilled on 21st March into ploughed up 10 yr grass ley, so not much moisture.
