Has any1 built a shed recently that is a round top with no side walls just round from the ground up. Dont know the proper name for them. Much difference in price to conventional apex shed?

Horrible shape to store in ,,A small holder near me has one and you lose alot of stacking space ,,tipping a trailer is a nightmare and you cant push or clean up against the walls with a loader bucket

Always called them a Dutch Barn.

Git one in a offlying block of ground. Ok to put a bit of straw in but that’s about it

Nissen Huts were the smaller ones, just made of tin sheets.

Romney sheds were the larger ones, had an internal frame.

The guys still make them.

No frame, just put the thing together, bolt it to the base and presto, you've got a covered space. Fill in the ends and you're weathertight. Whats not to like! AH, don't forget a door.......
OK a portal is a better shape but you need so much more to put one up and they have to be tall to allow a modern trailer to fully tip, engineered to allow for snow-loading and wind factors. All this costs a lot of money. Then find someone who can put it up, safely, for a reasonable cost.

I visited a few over a year working in the red-platers world. They are called a 'Hardened Aircraft Shelter' and great for vehicle repairs as they are concrete. Some were covered in soil so keep really quite warm in the depths of winter.
