What do your row cleaners look like on your weaving are they home made or weaving supplied?
Sorry, have not been clear enough! I WOULD love them on my Weaving. Sadly they don't make one, its tricky as there isn't much room. They have played about with a few things, including just a grass harrow tine infront, but its tricky to get it to stay in exactly the right place.

I remove straw for autumn crops following cereals weaving gd drill

for spring crops straw is now not too much of a problem after a few years notill
last April when it was dry a good layer of straw and sprayed off cover was better than no straw or cover

Did you see much hair pinning in the slots? Was that drilled with the Sprinter or the Avatar?
Avatar the sprinter doesn’t really go in stripped stuff although you can sort of do it. Not really much hairpinning but you have to go with the he way it was drilled.

I'm playing to the audience here as I know you operate CTF, but did the stripper left the straw in line with the drilling? Do you run the Avatar discs in the space next to the rows of stubble?

Not really depends what drill was used as sprinter doesn’t match up with avatar. It just slots it through the straw.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
