RTK Base Station Sites in Scotland

Hi All

RTK Farming is now on the hunt for Base Station sites throughout Scotland. There is no requirement to be an RTK user or indeed for the site to be a farm and we will be covering the whole country so all options will be considered.

Key areas at the moment are:

Inverness
Wigtownshire
Argyllshire
Caithness

We are also keen to find sites on:
Barra
The Isle of Lewis
The Isle of Skye

Those people I've spoken to recently with Scottish sites I will be in contact again shortly.
If you think you have a suitable site or know someone who does please get in touch.

What kind of a site are you looking for? What is your ideal location?
Many of our sites are on Grain stores or commercial sheds, however this isn't a priority. Our main focus is on having a robust structure with a power supply. The main criteria for the surrounding site is that their is clear line of site above 5 degrees of elevation in a 360 degree view of the installation.

For instance if we install on top of a grain store (or any other building for that matter), we need clear sky all round as much as possible. We can look at each site on it's own merit though.

Would be happy to look at something here if that was of interest? 3 miles east of Castle Douglas.
