Just read all this thread. Very sad news. Rest in peace Dai.
I remember that name from fwi.Sad times RIPI first chatted to Dai when he was Welsh & willing back on FWI he helped to get Clare and I together and we met him once
He helped me alot over years.
Really nice chap
My thoughts are with his family
Rest in peace Dai
Too true.No need to be shy about death. There is nothing more sure that is bound to happen to us all and the circumstances will be different to each of us. Be happy for the life once lived and those that live today, rather than grieve too long for its loss.
Shouldn't tff themselves write this ???It has been suggested that we send a message of condolence from the TFF membership to his family
Would anyone volunteer to write a few appropriate words that represent how a missed Dai will be by his many online friends ?
Also is there anyone on here that is in a position to pass such a message directly to the family
Shouldn't tff themselves write this ???
Or am I missing something
Yes but tff should write it wether you knew him personally or not.We could do and would be happy to do so but thought best to ask opinion of members as maybe someone that actually knew him personally might be better qualified to write it ?
Yes but tff should write it wether you knew him personally or not.
He was a member who contributed a lot,
Be better coming from tff of how they knew him on behalf of the members.
Just a few words it's not that hard surely for you to type a few words of condolence, doesn't have to be an essay.
Yes I know that,As I said in my previous posts we are happy to do so
But felt asking members opinion first was the right way to go about it, someone else may feel better qualified if they knew him personally etc vs just virtualy on here
yes I think you are right,It should be a letter sent by post not some social media thing. And perhaps a donation to the charlity
Simple as that a perfect suggestionIt should be a letter sent by post not some social media thing. And perhaps a donation to the charlity
On page 6 of this thread, there’s an obituary with address that someone posted .ok, sorted them unless anyone has any objections, we will write a note and send it on behalf or the TFF membership
can anyone let me know an address via PM please to send it to
Would it be an idea where we can add our real names to the letter? A more personal touch maybe?
