Sanderson Ford engine oil leak

Hi wonder if anyone can please help
I have a 2wd Sanderson RT Forklift with the Ford 3 Cylinder diesel engine,i have owned it a few years and is not heavily worked literally runs for 5 or 10 minutes at a time
Has always smoked a bit from the exhaust
However today it has literally started throwing oil out of the bottom of the thick metal breather that runs from the rocker cover down towards the crank pulley area
IMG_6343[1].JPG

Its still running fine and sounds fine on all 3 cylinders
I have attached a picture of the breather
Is there any reasonably quick fix? Thanks

check your lift pump hasn't filled your sump with diesel. Just a shot in the dark really but I have had that happen and the first sign was oil leaking suddenly appearing from the dipstick in my case.

Yes check oil level and if thin with fuel, lift pump, injector pump or a thermostat plug could cause fuel in oil.

Otherwise it's probably very worn out.

First as stated check oil level if it's gone up it's very likely a porous block more do if coolant level gone down, if you have a rotary inj pump there is no lift pump as fuel is gravity fed, if it's an inline pump it has but never had inj or lift pump cause fuel leak into sump as if lift diaphragm splits engine will stop, if you only use machine for those times it's glazed the bore's and only if you are lucky and work it hard will it get any better and might well need eng strip down to hone bore's and new ring's.
