It would probably be brand new, when I started, pallets, if you got them, stayed on the truck bed and the cement was lifted off on sheets of cardboard.Yes I can remember when it wasn’t on pallets and just stacked on the wagon in hundred weight paper bags. Then the packing plant came in in the 90’s it cost nearly as much to put in as the whole lot cost to build. We had a farm rented off them they always helped us when we were broken down with parts and fitters even. We helped them when we could I worked for them a bit for a good few months 25 years ago. Shame it closed a lot of folks moved away for work a lot of local businesses went things have never been the same. This place is a retirement home now
Forks had to be set up perfectly, some places they had no bother, others were useless. Scariest was getting tipped by crane, with a fork attachment, where they would swing them over parked cars, the public, or anything, I never saw one drop through.
