Servicing a Kuhn power harrow

Bought a 4 meter folding Harrow last year, it’s a 2001. No idea of service history so think it will need doing. Anyone know what needs to be done other than gearbox oil. Anyone know how much they hold and what oil it should take?

They're very helpful.depends how far your going with a service....if removing the trough lid you will fill with new grease and they know the quantities etc.only other thing you can service is the packer bearings.we did up our own six metre .replaced some seals on the rotors here and there and then refilled the grease in the trough.some people put a filler neck on the trough lid while it's off so you can see in and add grease if you think it's low or leaks a bit ...not a bad idea maybe but we didnt.

37.5 kg of EP0 grease in troughs of a 4m and HD 85w/140 gear oil in gearbox, but unsure of quantity. Some later models do use 85w/140 in the trough instead of grease, but Andy Guest puts EPO in them.
