Why are so many people struggling to create an SFI offer for their farms? It is such any easy process to use and only 10,000 out of 89,000 BPS recipients have managed to enter to date.. 190,000 acres at £190 million spend? Is this correct?
Was easy enough creating one, just that RPA messed up on the offer so having to do it again is a pain, especially as they lock you out for a week when you reject the bodge 🙄

It seems crazy how random the lead time is between applying and getting an offer.
Submitted mine last Sunday, offer arrived on Tuesday. Didn't even see it until Thursday as wasn't expecting it.

Doubled checked what they had and accepted

Has anyone found a way to avoid the 'agreement level SFI actions' i.e. IPM1, NUM1 & SAM1A? I can't get further without selecting at least one. I know most people might consider them money for old rope, but I'd like to have an option that doesn't require any BS work.

There was also the thought process considered earlier of making a single-parcel app with these options on (very simple to comply) and then having a main app without them. That brings the risk of missing out on the full management payment, as it's a bit woolly how it's applied to multiple apps, if the first is <50Ha.

Computer says NO because those options are the basic control measures needed for SFI by DEFRA.. a bit like BPS was... sorry

Well, the minimum I can engineer is SAM1A (£97 flat) and SAM1 on only my largest parcel (20Ha x £6), so £651 for doing 1 sample and a plan for 1 field isn't too bad.

Has anyone been using the new "request rural land changes" tab on the RPA website rather than RLE1 forms?
I want to remove a couple of land parcels and split some other land parcels so I can take whole parcel SFI options on just the areas I want to. Would I perform both of these options on the "All other land changes options"? by submitting annotated maps?
Not sure if it is any easier than RLE1s at this stage
