I know him, doesn’t live that far away and does a fair bit of farming. He’s a decent fella. And would think any deals would be honest and describe fully.

Iv messaged that guy but lm going to get a welgar 220 or 235, he's took 500 of it , l thought it would be sold buy now. Maybe l should buy it as not too far from me.

Is this any use? I know you are scunnered with your present claas but this looks tidy and probably a big improvement on your present one. Others with personal experience of this baler will be able to comment.

A very local to me machine being sold by a good friend and neighbour. A well maintained machine that’s had a good home on a small farm. Been replaced with a newer belt baler.

I don't know if you are sorted up yet with a baler but I see bryson tractors have an older welger rp for sale on their website, no pictures though but I did see it sitting in their yard the other day.

Not a farmer, master, l think lm going to buy it if its a clean as it looks. I might phone bryson aswell.
I used to baler a lot of straw with mine and it was hard on chamber drive chains they started breaking around 16000 bales I broke a roller in the 245 but was a very dry straw season the bales were stopping turning at times and I'm sure that's what did it but a good simple baler

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
