That is incredible- how do you get a 3D printer to do something like that? I have access to one but don’t really no how I would get it to do that.

I guess you have to create a 3D model in something like sketchup or find one ready made?

The model tractor (MF165) was designed by this chap http://makitpro.com/index.php/openrc-tractor/ .
The files can be found here https://www.thingiverse.com/search?q=+OpenRC+tractor&type=things&sort=relevant and other places.

I have been 3D print8ng for a couple of years, with patience it is surprising what you can produce. The tyres are printed with TPU flexible filament and took 18 hours each, so you set it off and go to work, or bed, and if all goes well you have the print to look forward to. The rest of the tractor parts are in PLA. Electrical gizmos for the radio control from Amazon

My printer was a 60th birthday present from my eldest son, it is a Wanhao i3+, they retail for under £250 I think. I printed the MF165 and asked the designer, on the off chance, if he could alter the tin work to produce a MF65, he very kindly did so. The three point linkage works and there are lots of files of implements and modifications on Thingiverse.

think that covers everything, if anyine wants to know more please shout.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
