I would think there isn't a whole lot for restraining sheep other than a clamp or turnover crate, is it something like a sheep version of a cattle crush you are looking for?

Yeah something like that with a head yoke,I’ve seen the modulamb and iae docking crates online,I’m thinking maybe one of them might do the job?

Will a head yoke work with horned sheep? I would think it will be a right pain in the arse.
This is what I’m unsure of,my reason for asking all this is because I’m abit on the short side☺️,and struggle sometimes working on Cheviots/blackies when on my own,so I’m hoping to get something to help restrain them to make it abit easier

@Nithsdale Farmer has a clamp that fits inside a race, which I can’t remember the name of. That would likely fit your needs very well @Roco85

A lot cheaper/simpler than a CombiClamp, and would work with horned sheep better than a headyoke.
The company was called Rancher that he got his race clamp from. It’s now called Orangeworks. (y)

Rancher - Now Orangeworks - Gripper. I've a friend has one, too, who runs Blackies. He gets on fine with it catching them.

Looks like they've moved to Dalbeattie (from Castle Douglas). Last post on their FB page was in October..

Could always phone them to see?
