Looking for advice on the best crate for holding any size and horned sheep for dozing, jagging, tagging, foot trimming etc, thanks for any advice
Cheaper than a combi, more like a dagging/docking crate type of thingTake it you mean a Combi Clamp or something similar? and not really a crate as such?
Yeah something like that with a head yoke,I’ve seen the modulamb and iae docking crates online,I’m thinking maybe one of them might do the job?I would think there isn't a whole lot for restraining sheep other than a clamp or turnover crate, is it something like a sheep version of a cattle crush you are looking for?
This is what I’m unsure of,my reason for asking all this is because I’m abit on the short side, and struggle sometimes working on Cheviots/blackies when on my own,so I’m hoping to get something to help restrain them to make it abit easierWill a head yoke work with horned sheep? I would think it will be a right pain in the arse.
Thanks will look them up,if anyone can think of any thing else that might s@Nithsdale Farmer has a clamp that fits inside a race, which I can’t remember the name of. That would likely fit your needs very well @Roco85
A lot cheaper/simpler than a CombiClamp, and would work with horned sheep better than a headyoke.

The company was called Rancher that he got his race clamp from. It’s now called Orangeworks.@Nithsdale Farmer has a clamp that fits inside a race, which I can’t remember the name of. That would likely fit your needs very well @Roco85

Are Orangeworks still trading? Their company profile on Facebook states that they are "permanently closed"? https://www.facebook.com/orangworks/The company was called Rancher that he got his race clamp from. It’s now called Orangeworks.
Don’t know I’m afraid, I only ever dealt with Jimmy Robertson of Rancher before Orangeworks took it over . Perhaps @Nithsdale Farmer might know ?Are Orangeworks still trading? Their company profile on Facebook states that they are "permanently closed"? https://www.facebook.com/orangworks/
